Funding Opportunities

NN/LM GMR Funding Opportunities

The GMR provides funding for network members to assist them in conducting outreach and technology projects. Funding is at two levels: awards and subcontracts. The Current Requests for Proposals page shows funding amount, eligibility, availability and deadline for each of the awards and subcontracts. See the individual Requests for Proposals (RFPs) linked at left for details about a given award or subcontract.

GMR Awards

For the 2008/2009 contract year, five types of awards are available; awards are in amounts less than $5,000. Network members may apply for these awards at any time using the online application form linked to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for each of the awards.

GMR Subcontracts

Funded amounts of $5,000 and over are called subcontracts and require completion of additional support documentation. Four types of subcontracts are available at two funding levels, $40,000 and $12,000. The first deadline for subcontract applications is August 1, 2008; a second round of applications will be accepted on November 1, 2008. If funds are available, a third round will be accepted on February 1, 2009.
