Bio:
Terri Ottosen has served as the consumer health outreach coordinator for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine Southeastern/Atlantic Region since February 2005. She has worked in public, academic and medical libraries for over 15 years enjoying every aspect of library work from shelving to management. Terri began her professional career as a reference librarian in a HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) in south central Los Angeles and continued in an academic medical center as the bibliographic instruction coordinator and reference librarian at the University of Southern California. Terri recently held a position as manager of a hospital library in Virginia, bringing a variety of knowledge and understanding of the field that assists her in this role. Terri has experience teaching, developing classes, budgeting, and consultation. She has served on many professional committees and is a distinguished member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals.
