Bio:

Janice Kelly is the executive director of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern/Atlantic Region. The National Network is an outreach program of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that works to ensure that all health professionals and the public have access to needed health information. Janice has been with the Network for over 10 years managing a Network of over 1,000 libraries, overseeing programs that provide training to individuals on NLM databases and exhibits at national and local meetings and developing outreach projects to improve local access to health information.

Janice has a Masters of Library of Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and over 20 years of library experience in both hospital and academic health sciences libraries. During her career, she has managed a branch medical library, provided clinical medical librarian services, supervised an interlibrary lending department while serving as the resources sharing coordinator for the Regional Medical Library Program and worked in a multi-type library network.  She is active on professional committees and in regional and national medical library associations.
