About State Systems ProfilesDescriptionOne of the components of the NHSITRC web site is a repository of information shared from states that details their existing and planned Human Services software applications. This application is called the State Systems Profiles (SSP). The Profile typically contains such data as a functional description of the State's processes for that program, the name of the supporting application, identification of external interfaces and identification of the responsible State agencies and points of contact. This information is provided by the responsible State agency, and is updated on a regular basis. PurposeThe SSP provides information on existing and planned software applications that are potentially useful to State IT organizations implementing changes related to welfare reform. State IT organizations are able to search by keyword to find out about applications in use or development in other States across the nation. This information contains a brief description of the application, its technical environment, and also contact information so that additional questions may be answered. The SSP database was initially populated with information gathered during Y2K planning, and is continually updated with information gathered from ACF/State Information Systems Meeting participants and via other State sources. State IT organizations are strongly encouraged to submit new information in order to increase the value of this repository for all States. Features:
