Nevada Commission Approves First Link in Southwest Intertie Project
The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada has approved a 500-kilovolt transmission line that would transmit power from solar, wind, and geothermal sources within the state to populated areas. The line would be the first link in the proposed Southwest Intertie Project that aims to enable transmission of renewable energy throughout the West. More
