Philip M. Teigen, Deputy Chief of the History of Medicine Division


Philip Teigen
Philip M. Teigen is Deputy Chief, History of Medicine Division. Before joining the HMD staff in 1984, he was the Osler Librarian at McGill University, Montreal. His research focusses upon the history of zoönotic diseases (rabies and anthrax in particular), the veterinary profession, and the reading and writing of medical history. He holds a Ph.D. in the History of Science from the University of Wisconsin.
