FAQ's

Minority-owned businesses are the fastest growing sector of the Los Angeles economy. Finance is necessary for their companies to continue to grow and expand.

Yet, often their biggest obstacle is access to capital. The Los Angeles Minority Business Opportunity Center has relationships with capital providers who can offer finance resources for real estate, lines of credit, bonding for construction, SBA or government, and trade finance.

HOW TO ACCESS CAPITAL:

  • The LA MBOC refers its clients to funding agencies
    • Businesses are introduced to finance professionals who can structure financing that meets their needs
    • Clients are given direction to support them through the funding process
    • Fill out the "Pre-Loan Qualification Form – so LA MBOC can help you find capital for your business
