In celebration of Earth Day 1996, GLOBE students at the LeRosen Gifted and
Talented Center invited parents, friends, school board members and the media
to a special program called "Rain Forest Research".
The students, pictured here, created paper sculptures of rainforest plants and
animals and made rainsticks. These young GLOBE scientists will be graduating
from fifth grade and attending Paul Breaux Middle School next year - also a
GLOBE school!
