About FSIS
Office of the Administrator
The Administrator is FSIS' top official, with overall responsibility for all inspection and standard-setting activities. The Office of the Administrator (OA) oversees FSIS' eight major programs. OA houses the U.S. Office of the Codex Alimentarius Commission and the Special Assistant for Civil Rights.

The Special Assistant for Civil Rights
The Special Assistant provides a direct link between the Administrator, Agency employees, and external groups. Their primary role is to serves as the key civil rights advocate for FSIS employees. Visit the Civil Rights Division page to learn more about civil rights programs and initiatives.

The United States Codex Office
The U.S. Codex Office, located in FSIS, is the U.S. contact point for the Codex Alimentarius Commission and its activities.
