Here,
you’ll find central Ohio nontraditional students who want the
Ohio State experience and adult-focused services. As an example, some
of our students enroll through CEd to try a course or two before committing
themselves to a degree program. When they decide to pursue a degree
at Ohio State, they may transfer enrollment and credits earned through
CEd to the appropriate enrollment unit. Other examples:
Students with some college credit who are reentering the university
environment
Adults attending
college for the first time
Adults who want
to update job skills, widen career options or explore a new discipline
Professionals
(such as educators and social workers) renewing certification/licensure
Students completing
prerequisites for graduate or professional study
Lifelong learners
who enjoy academic opportunity and seek new ideas
Students from
other colleges who want to transfer Ohio State credit to another degree
program.
