TDS Market Baskets (MBs) are generally conducted four times each year, once in each of four geographic regions of the countries. The MB number (e.g., 91-3) indicates the last two numbers of the fiscal year (e.g., 91) and the specific collection (1 through 4) for that year. For each MB, samples of each TDS food are collected over a 5-week period in three cities in the region. The following table indicates the collection sites and dates relevant to the data reported on this website.
