Bldg. 21 Hot Labs

Any NIH researcher that is iodinating may do so in the hot lab facility. The hot labs are located in Building 21 and are currently open Wednesday and Thursday of each week from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00PM to 4:00 PM.

Hot lab users must be:

  • Trained and registered with DRS
  • Have a baseline thyroid scan
  • First time users must be accompanied by an experienced hot lab user
