December 22, 2008 - Fort Dix Terror Trial Ends With Guilty Verdict – After spending 38 hours over six days deliberating, a jury convicted five foreign-born Muslim men of plotting to attack Fort Dix and murder American soldiers, but acquitted them of attempted murder. December 18, 2008: Chicago RCFL Supporting Blagojevich Investigation On 12/9/08, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and his Chief of Staff were arrested on federal corruption charges.
