Having trouble meeting your mortgage payments? The Homeowner Assistance Initiative Refinancing Pool was designed to help homeowners refinance their existing loans at lower and/or fixed rates at a minimal cost. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has identified nine financial institutions that have committed to working with eligible candidates to help borrowers secure loans that meet their needs.
