Region 5 Speakers Bureau

EPA Ambassadors are employees in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 office in Chicago who speak to the public about the environment and what people can do to make it better.

We speak at:

Earth Day events
career days at schools and universities
classroom visits
panel discussions
meetings of trade associations or business groups
meetings of volunteer groups such as community groups and garden clubs

We also serve as science fair judges.

If you'd like an EPA employee to speak to your group, please request a speaker by filling out the online form and we'll get back to you, usually within 3 business days. Note: Because our travel funds are limited, most of the speaking requests we can accept are in the greater Chicago area. We'll try to fulfill all requests, but you may wish to contact your state environmental agency as well.
