EPA Honors Moab, Utah
See the video of this news broadcast (MPG). (6MB, 35 seconds)*

Transcript
Scene: KSL5 Newsroom.
(Reporter): Moab, Utah has gained national honors for being earth friendly. The town challenged residents to voluntarily buy pollution-free energy, and they obliged. In just a month they became the nation’s first EPA Green Power Community.

Scene (Reporter still talking): Brief shot of the Town of Moab, Utah. Brief clip of a woman speaking into a microphone with a Green Power Partnership banner in the background, followed by a clip of an audience applauding, then a clip of a Matt Clouse of EPA’s Green Power Partnership speaking in front of two people lifting a sign on which reads “Welcome to a Green Power Community. Energizing our community with clean, responsible power.”

Scene: Matt Clouse, EPA Green Power Partnership.
(Matt Clouse): Green power is clean electricity from renewable sources like wind, solar, geothermal, landfill gas, and low-impact hydro.

Scene (Reporter talking): Two more brief shots of Moab, Utah.

(Reporter): EPA estimates Moab’s changes are equivalent to planting 750 acres of trees. Way to go!
