GOES-12 Satellite Data Restored

The GOES-12 satellite outage is over. All products should render normally. We switched scripts back to read GOES-12 at 21Z on Wednesday 1/7. Please let us know if you experience any problems or old data.

Great Lakes 925 MB Chart Online

We added a 925 MB analysis to the NAM plots to aid in Lake Effect Snow forecasting. This chart displays uplift, temperature, and winds at 925 MB with the difference in temperature between 850 MB and 1000 MB. If you have any questions, or suggestions, please let us know. Our upper air charts/Severe Wx Charts are back. When we reinstalled everything, the program which processes the upper air data seems to have a bug. For now, we're using a slightly older version, but everything seems to be working fine. Upper air charts are accessible here.
