Directions:

Natcher Conference Center, also known as Building 45 (please see map) can be easily accessed from the Medical Center Metro station. It is a 5-10 minute walk. Visitors must register at the NIH visitor center right inside the NIH main gate close to the metro station on South Drive. There is very limited visitor parking, indicated on the map, and all spaces are usually occupied early in the morning. You are strongly encouraged to take a taxi or public transportation to the NIH campus.

Subway to NIH
The most convinient way to reach NIH is by the Metro (red line). Take the red line and exit at the Medical Center Station. The Metrorail is available from Reagan National Airport and Union Station.

From Ronald Reagan National Airport
From airport terminals take the pedestrian bridge or shuttle to the Metrorail's Reagan National Airport Station. Take a Yellow train to the Gallery Place or take a Blue Line train to the Metro Center and transfer to the Red Line. On the Red Line, take a train toward Shady Grove or Grosvenor to the Medical Center Station.

From Union Station

Union Station is located on the Red Line. Take a train toward Shady Grove or Grosvenor to the Medical Center Station.
