FERC-730 - Report of Transaction Investment Activity

FERC-730 is used by the Commission to determine the effectiveness of its rules and to provide it with an accurate assessment of the state of transmission investment by public utilities. This annual report includes projections, information that details the level and status of transmission investment, and the reason for delay, if any. Public utilities that have been granted incentive based rate treatment for specific transmission projects under provisions of 18 CFR 35.35 must file FERC-730. The report must conform to the format prescribed in Order No. 679, Appendix A. Filers are strongly encouraged to submit the FERC-730 electronically via eFiling. Chapter: 18 CFR 35.35

Summary Information
Each intrastate pipeline transporting natural gas under section 311(a)(2) must submit an annual report of transportation transactions. The report must provide the name of the shipper, the type of transaction, the quantity shipped and the revenues received. The Commission considers this to be public information. Summary Information
A report by interstate pipelines operating under a blanket certificate showing the pipeline's peak day capacity and the estimated storage capacity and maximum daily delivery capability of its storage facilities. The report must also show the respective assignments of that capacity to the various firm services provided by the pipeline. Chapter: 18 CFR Sec. 284.13

FERC-61 – Narrative Description of Service Company Functions

FERC-61 is a filing requirement for service companies in holding company systems (including special purpose companies) that are currently exempt or granted a waiver of Commission’s regulations and therefore would not have to file FERC Form 60. Instead, service companies will be required to file on an annual basis a narrative description of the service company’s functions during the prior calendar year. In complying with this section, a holding company may make a single filing on behalf of all of its service company subsidiaries. The report is considered to be a non-confidential public use filing. Chapter: 18 CFR 366.23
