We've added two new eLearning options to our course offerings on OnlineAHA.org. Heartsaver CPR & AED Online Part 1 offers the cognitive portion of CPR and AED training for lay rescuers in the workplace. It must be paired with a hands-on skills practice and testing session (parts 2 and 3) with an AHA Instructor. Acute Stroke Online provides training on the symptoms, diagnosis and management of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and complications of stroke, and is geared toward healthcare providers.
HeartCode ACLS Anywhere HeartCode ACLS Anywhere offers an alternative to the traditional ACLS Course for both initial and renewal certification and is the only ACLS eLearning course that offers an official AHA certification. Updated with the 2005 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, HeartCode ACLS includes easier navigation, resuscitation team approach and practical application to ECG rhythm recognition and pharmacology.
ECG & Pharmacology The American Heart Association's new ECG & Pharmacology Course is designed to enhance ECG recognition skills and drug treatment knowledge. It's an ideal solution for healthcare providers who are preparing to take ACLS, but can also be used by anyone needing to learn ECG recognition skills and/or pharmacology. more
