The following are a listing of altimeter products that involve TOPEX/Poseidon altimetry data. The list includes data designed for scientific research and products designed for use by end users or service providers.

Before using a product it is recommended that you contact the appropriate person to discuss applicability for your particular study or application.

Note:
Sea level anomaly products vary from one producer to another owing to diferences in the 'average' data used to construct the anomalies or deviations.

Using Altimeter Data

Increasingly data is provided in a form that is directly of use as a map or in digital form. Products include the following:

• Sea surface height
• Geostrophic velocity vectors
• Wind speed
• Wave height
