Text Editors

In addition to vendor-supplied version of editors NERSC maintains a number of popular text editors. As long as a user has not replaced the NERSC-supplied shell initialization files, the following editors are available in user's default search path.

Editors by Platform

Editors in modules

On some machines, some editors also have modules bearing their name. These modules give access to additional tools or features that may be available with the complete distribution of the editor. Use "module avail" on the individual machines to see which modules are available.
