Visiting DC

If you are planning to visit our nation's capital, please contact Zeenath Nazrulla in my district office at (586) 498-7122 as soon as you know your travel plans. You may also request a tour by filling out the secure web form below.

Reservations are made on a first come first served basis and are very limited. I suggest you contact my office at least six to eight weeks prior to your trip.

We have brochures, tour information and maps for the greater Washington D.C. area and its many attractions.

U.S. Capitol

There are several options to book a tour of the Capitol. You now have the option to book a Capitol Guide Service led tour directly on the new Capitol web page: www.visitthecapitol.gov.

If you prefer a tour given by one of my trained staff members, please select the United States Capitol option on the online form and we will be pleased to assist you.

U.S. Department of State

The Deparment of State allows to request tours directly on their website.

Click request a tour on the Department of State webpage: https://receptiontours.state.gov.

In the field “Request Type” click on the individual tour button.

If you would like my office to request the tour for you, please select the Department of State option on the online form below and we will be pleased to assist you.

If you are driving, the nearest public parking to the Capitol is paid parking at Union Station, there is also metered parking for the general public on 3rd street between Independence and Constitution Avenue.
