BRAC Commission Libraries
The Base Closure and Realignment Commission has established several settings to facilitate the public's ability to review and evaluate all
information provided to the Commission by the Department of Defense, affected communities and concerned citizens. Currently information
received by the Commission, both in hard and electronic copy, is available for review on-line within the
Commission's BRAC E-Library.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the materials provided in this
electronic library database, and to ensure the inclusion only of materials relating to the Base Closure and
Realignment Commission decision-making process. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, or assumption of legal liability or
responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of the materials contained in this database or for loss or damage
resulting from the use of information contained within.
Government information included in this database is in the public domain; however, there is also contained herein information that is
owned/created by others, including copyrighted materials and other materials sponsored by private companies or non-government organizations.
Those other parties retain all rights to publish or reproduce those documents or to allow others to do so. Any copyrighted materials
included in this database remain the property of their respective owners/creators.
This electronic library gives users the option to browse all the documents or to search for specific
documents based upon key words or previously established criteria. Contained within this library are all the documents received and
processed by the Commission staff from the Department of Defense, including the documentation supporting the DoD Base Closure and
Realignment Report released May 13th, 2005 along with material received by the commission at regional hearings, base visits and through
traditional mail delivery. Also included in the electronic library are all the comments that have been received by the Commission via the
comment form on this site.
