Former big-league pitcher Frank Williams, a Seattle native who had lived as a homeless person in Victoria, recently died of a heart attack. He was 50.

Paul Rossi, 1928-2009: For sports fans, he was 'in the P-I' for decades
Fittingly, Paul Rossi was watching "SportsCenter" from his hospital bed when he died Sunday in Tucson, Ariz. He was 80. A fixture of the Seattle P-I sports department for nearly a half-century, he wrote about baseball and boxing and never could get his fill of the athletic world.
