The General Services Administration (GSA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are working together to consolidate FDA at the government-owned White Oak site at 10903 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20993. The new buildings will replace all the existing fragmented facilities which support the Office of the Commissioner (OC), the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) and offices for the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM). The development will consist of new laboratories, office buildings and support facilities. This consolidation project has been authorized through the FDA Revitalization Act and is funded through the GSA appropriation.
