Rate/Freq: use 20 wasps per square foot of stored grain. Release weekly to keep moths supressed to low level. If your order stays cold, you can store part for release every 3-4 days over a 4-week period. |
- Tiny wasp lays its egg in the eggs of moths, killing moth before it emerges into a caterpillar.
- Make well-distributed releases throughout moth flight and protect from ants.
- Contribute around 75% decrease in caterpillars, higher when frequent releases are started early.
- Best used in combination with other measures, including Bracon and Xylocoris releases and conservation of natural predators.
- Two month advance notice necessary to assure larger quantities. Discounts available for larger advance agreements.
