Connecticut:

Connecticut has a nursery pot injection molding company (Pastanch, LLC) affiliated with a marketing company (New Christie Ventures). They will purchase and pick up plastic nursery products, primarily polypropylene (PP, #5). They do not have washing capabilities, so materials must be free of dirt and pesticides. Film plastics are not accepted. Contact:

Northwest Ag Plastics is contracted by the Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) to recycle pesticide containers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.  Acceptable plastic containers range from half pints to 55 gallon drums. Service is provided at no charge. 

RE Sources is a non-profit environmental education organization founded in the state of Washington in 1982 as Bellingham Community Recycling. A seven county agricultural plastic recycling program was started in 2007, collecting nursery pots, forage bags, baling twine and nursery containers. Working with Northwest Ag Plastics they scheduled collections in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
