Organic Ant Control Presentation Ken Kupfer of KM AntPro in Nokomis, Florida
Ken Kupfer is the developer of an innovative ant bait station for controlling ants. He has a wealth of information about ants.
The KM AntPro ant bait station featured in his presentation dispenses ant bait to ants but keeps out wildlife like hummingbirds, bees, butterflies, and dogs. The AntPro bait station dispenses Gourmet Liquid Ant Bait, organic boric acid bait that has very low toxicity to mammals. AntPro performed better than any other bait station in studies at the University of California at Riverside. Ants are a common cause of pest problems. They farm aphids and other honeydew-producing insects for the insect honeydew secretions. Ants “milk” aphids for honeydew, protect them from predators like ladybugs and lacewing, and move them to growing tips of plants to feed. To control aphids when ants are present, you must control the ants. Sponsored by Rincon-Vitova Insectaries, Inc., world’s oldest commercial insectary and pioneer in biological control of pests. Rincon-Vitova stocks KM AntPro bait stations and Gourmet Liquid Ant Bait.
