Spectrum Management and Interference Issues
Frequency Management Engineering. The ever increasing use of frequency spectrum is placing larger demands on the FAA's Spectrum Engineering Division to maintain and improve on the National Airspace System spectrum services. The Center will provide technical support by (1) conducting tests to assess the developing computer graphics tool to rapidly assess potential affects of the military JTIDS and MLS-DME/P performance; (2) frequency interference problems in voice communications when sector boundaries in ARTCC's are changed; and (3) provide general technical support to the Spectrum Engineering Division.
