Processing tomatoes
  • A mobile seed processing unit equipped with many small-scale seed cleaning devices travels across New York State and the Northeast region. The equipment is available for regional growers and small-scale seed companies to use at scheduled workshops throughout the year.
  • The mobile seed processing unit houses the following seed cleaning equipment: a portable belt thresher, clipper office tester, wet vegetable seed separator, velvet roller, air column and much more! In addition to mechanical equipment, there is a large assortment of simple equipment for manual seed cleaning; including sceens, strainers and threshing boxes.
