Hey, What About My Bright Idea?

IDEAS: Cryptocard login or Win Domain login

IDEAS was created with you in mind!

What about my bright idea posterIDEAS, the Technology Transfer (TT) Division's Invention Disclosure Electronic Application System, is a Web-based application to assist you, the inventor, with creating, modifying, reviewing, and submitting your invention disclosures electronically.

IDEAS is a series of "wizards" and Web forms that takes you step-by-step through all the information required to disclose your invention to the Technology Transfer Division and LANL Legal Counsel.

The disclosure process does two things: it meets the established legal requirements to secure your intellectual property rights, and it provides TT with the vital information for successful, commercial, noncommercial, and academic licensing and transfer of your invention to the public/private sector.

No decisions will be made without your direct input; this is obtained through your invention disclosure.

Once you create an IDEAS file, you and your co-inventors, and any other LANL employee you designate, can change, add, and delete information until your disclosure reads exactly the way you want it to read.

From the Laboratory network, you can login to IDEAS using your WIN Domain credentials. Go to http://ideas.lanl.gov and use the same login you use to access your desktop computer; OR use your Crypto Card and login to IDEAS here: https://ideas.lanl.gov
