Energy Science and Technology Software Center

The prime contract between Los Alamos National Security, LLC, and the Department of Energy (DOE) requires that DOE-funded software be deposited with DOE's Energy Science and Technology Software Center (ESTSC), operated by DOE's Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. ESTSC is DOE's centralized software management facility. The center licenses and distributes federally funded scientific and technical software developed by the national laboratories, other facilities, and DOE contractors.

Instructions: 

1. Complete the following in its entirety [with the exception of Part III A and Part III B. (2), entitled "Releasing Official," which will be completed by Tech Transfer, to comply with the required documentation for ESTSC:
   - U.S. DOE Announcement of Computer Software (DOE F 241.4) (pdf)
   
2. Submit the completed form electronically to TT Division,Christine Ramos (5-6846), ctramos@lanl.gov, along with two (2) copies of any portable media containing the authored software (URL and ftp addresses are also accepted).
