Sam Noble Scholarship
 
 
     

The Sam Noble Scholarship Program – This scholarship program was established by the late Sam Noble to encourage and enable outstanding students to become highly proficient in the areas of agriculture or technology.

Who qualifies to apply?
Students residing within one of 15 south-central and southeastern Oklahoma counties including Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Choctaw, Coal, Garvin, Jefferson, Johnston, Love, Marshall, McCurtain, Murray, Pontotoc, Pushmataha and Stephens. Students from other areas of the state or outside of Oklahoma are not eligible to apply.

Eligible institutions

  • Agriculture scholarship: University must have a College or Division of Agriculture from which the agricultural-related baccalaureate (or higher) degree will be awarded. Eligible institutions include Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Texas A&M in College Station, TX, Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and any land grant institution in the remaining states. Agriculture students attending two-year institutions may apply the winter/spring before transferring to a qualifying institution.
  • Technology scholarship: Eligible institutions include OSU Institute of Technology (Okmulgee) and Oklahoma State University/Oklahoma City.

The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation also funds many scholarship programs at various state-supported colleges and universities through annual grants and endowment programs. These scholarships are administered by the individual colleges and universities, not the Noble Foundation.
