The principal road route to the two two main road access points to the Monument is via Interstate-5, the main north-south travel route between Seattle and Portland. Monument Facilities West Of Mount St. HelensMounument facilities west of Mount St. Helens may be accessed via Interstate-5 by taking the 'Castle Rock' exit #49 and traveling on State Route 504. Traveling east on SR 504 you will arrive at these Mount St. Helens sites in the following order:
Mounument Facilities South Of Mount St. HelensMonument facilities south of Mount St. Helens may be accessed via Interstate-5 to State Route 503. Traveling east on SR 503 the road will become Forest Road 90 a few miles past the town of Cougar. From Cougar, along Forest Road 90, you will come to Forest Road 83 in approximately 8 miles.
