Abstract The Archives and Special Collections, which is focused primarily on southern African American history and culture, is comprised of records and materials from New Orleans University, Straight College, and Dillard University, a United Methodist Church Collection, a rare book collection covering architecture, African American literature and Southern history, and Matthew Henson artifacts.
