'Topping Out' Milestone for Bldg. 50

The ceremony May 13 coincided with the end of the major concrete frame construction on the building. "The basic frame of the building is now complete," said Kutlak, adding, "I'm having fun — I feel sort of like the father of the bride." |
| The entire workforce of some 200 builders (right) was invited to a picnic to celebrate this milestone; workers got a catered lunch, cake and T-shirts. Bldg. 50 is scheduled to be complete in October 2000, with occupancy scheduled late that fall, or early 2001. |
