Summer Camps 2009 (pdf brochure)
In June, July and August kids of Grades 1 through 9 can enjoy a week of learning and discovery at SERC. Participants hike and canoe along the shores of the Rhode River, collect and investigate plankton, go fishing, catch and study blue crabs, and learn what's inside an oyster bar community. With the many hands-on science activities, crafts and games, this is a unique opportunity to explore local ecosystems. WARNING: You may get muddy! Download Registration

Learn about SERC's new education project called It's All in the Watershed. This was funded by the Smithsonian Center for Education and Marine Studies with collaboration with NASA Goddard.

Mangal Cay Virtual Mangrove Trail
Explore a mangrove ecosystem as never before with this virtual tour of a Caribbean mangrove island. Follow the winding path to learn what mangroves are, where they are found, and why people work to protect them. Unique pictures show the animals and plants that are part of this ecosystem.
