Summer Camps 2009 (pdf brochure)
In June, July and August kids of Grades 1 through 9 can enjoy a week of learning and discovery at SERC. Participants hike and canoe along the shores of the Rhode River, collect and investigate plankton, go fishing, catch and study blue crabs, and learn what's inside an oyster bar community. Explore a mangrove ecosystem as never before with this virtual tour of a Caribbean mangrove island. Follow the winding path to learn what mangroves are, where they are found, and why people work to protect them. Unique pictures show the animals and plants that are part of this ecosystem.
