Our office is no longer accepting requests for inauguration tickets. Due to the large volume of requests, we will only be notifying individuals who will be receiving tickets. Individuals without tickets may still come to Washington, D.C., to watch the events from large televisions that will be set up at the national mall. The national mall will be open to the public at no charge—tickets are not required. If you plan on attending inauguration events, please click here for important information about accessibility, traffic, security, and prohibited items.

On Monday, March 30th, I will be hosting my annual job fair from 9am to 3pm at the Fifth Regiment Armory at 19th Division Street in Baltimore. The event, which is free and open to the public, will allow participants to meet with prospective employers, as well as attend workshops to help them in their job search. For more information, please call my Baltimore office at 410.685.9199.

If you are having trouble with your mortgage and are worried about losing your home, please contact the Maryland HOPE (Home Owners Preserving Equity) HOTLINE: 1-877-462-7555. A network of counselors has been created to help Maryland homeowners contact their lenders and servicers and explore other options. The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development also has new programs that will help some homeowners refinance into an affordable mortgage or catch up on missed payments while negotiating a better outcome than foreclosure. While not everyone will be able to save their home, help is available and there may be a solution to your situation.

The Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation is investigating cases of fraud and foreclosure prevention scams. If you feel that you are a victim of fraud, please call 1(888) 784-0136.
