FOIA
Annual Reports The Freedom of Information Act (Act) requires every Federal agency, including the Farm Credit System Insurance Corporation (FCSIC), to submit a report to the Attorney General of the United States annually (pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552(e)) providing detailed information concerning its administration of the Act. The Corporation’s annual reports provide information about the number of requests received and processed, how long the Corporation takes to process different types of requests, the size of any backlog of FOIA requests, the exemptions that the Corporation has invoked to withhold records, and number and outcome of appeals. These annual reports are prepared by February 1, and report on the Corporation’s activities during the previous fiscal year.
