NatureServe West Region Natural Heritage Conference

NatureServe's West Region Natural Heritage Conference brings together regional natural heritage professionals, conservation partners and leaders for a discussion and exchange of the latest innovations and advances in the field. A conference designed to promote exchange of knowledge and collaboration opportunities, the West Region Conference will offer participants a chance to immerse themselves in conservation topics of great importance to the region. Some of our interactive sessions and workshops' topics include:

  • Advances in status assessments
  • Ecological mapping
  • Observation data management
  • Conservation planning
  • NatureServe's network role in addressing climate change

The conference was held at the Granlibakken Lodge, a place nestled in trees above the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe. Please feel free to explore slides of some of the various presentations given.
