Hydrologic, Coastal, and River Engineering Section
What We Do
Our specific functions vary widely, but include the following responsibilities:

Perform design investigations and analyses

Manage complex multi-disciplined engineering product development

Prepare special studies, design reports, manuals, and numeric models

Manage A-E contracts and consultants. Lead and manage technical product teams in support of Life Cycle Project Management

Provide hydraulic, hydrologic, and coastal engineering modeling and design expertise to a wide range of products

Site, design, construct, and install hydrologic data collection stations
Experience and Expertise
The Section offers a broad range of hydraulic and hydrologic engineering and design expertise, coupled with a long history of working with other Corps resources (Waterways Experiment Station, Hydrologic Engineering Center, Coastal Engineering Research Center, Districts, and Divisions). The District maintains multidisciplinary open-end contracts for engineering services.
