National Technical Standards, References, and Related Materials

Among other purposes, NTSC core staffs develop and maintain national technical standards, references, and related materials. They also collaborate on the development and maintenance of national policies, practices, procedures, and other guidance. In providing this assistance, these staffs:

  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, support, and expertise for development and maintenance of technical practice standards.
  • Ensure consistency of technical practice standards nationwide.
