Employees at NSA may have completely different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: the desire to use their skills to make a difference in the world.

W e Value Many Diverse Backgrounds

At NSA, we go beyond teaching and learning about diversity by actively involving the entire NSA community in initiatives that celebrate who we are. This is reflected through our Special Emphasis Programs. These programs consist of training events, speakers, demonstrations, special menu items in our cafeterias, displays, panel discussions, and much more.

Special Emphasis Programs are currently in place for the following groups:

African-Americans
American Indians/Alaska Natives
Asian-Americans/Pacific Islanders
Hispanics
People with Disabilities
Women

We also honor great Americans, remember significant events of the past, and explore different facets of what it means to be a member of the NSA family.
