The NIH IT Help Desk is the first line of IT support for the NIH user
community. There are numerous channels available for our customers to reach us.

HOURS
Our Normal hours of operation are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday Eastern Time.
We also have limited after hours support for emergencies available 6PM to 12AM midnight on
weekdays and 8:30AM to 5PM on weekends and holidays.
It is recommended to contact us by telephone if you have an emergency. Online service requests
(ticket submission) is the preferred method of contact over email because it verifies important
customer information that is not normally captured in an emailed request. You are likely to
receive faster service if you use the online request or telephone channels.
