About This Site Public health and agriculture are large and diverse fields, but both involve fundamental issues that affect everyone. Our health, our food system and our environment are all intricately - and intimately - connected. Yet, for those who want to understand these connections it can be difficult to simultaneously access information about agriculture and public health. The Agriculture & Public Health Gateway is a project of the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future. The Gateway provides a central place to access information about public health, agriculture, and the links between these two fields. It can be a useful resource for public health and agricultural professionals, advocacy and community organizations, policy makers, journalists, and educators. The Browse-by-Subject section is not meant to provide an exhaustive or comprehensive list of resources, but rather a sampling of some of the most pressing issues within each topic area. Gateway project staff collaborated with a team of experts to assemble this collection of online resources. We will continue to update these listings as we become aware of valuable resources we have missed.
