Announcements and Meetings

The members of the AUWG meet by teleconference weekly and face to face (3-5 times per year). Minutes of all meetings are recorded.

Meetings are on Mondays, 4:00 to 5:00pm, Eastern USA Time (GMT -5:00). To determine what time this is in your region, please consult the world clock meeting planner. Since Daylight Saving Time changeovers occur at different times in different countries, please check the times each week.

Group members can respond to surveys. New proposals are due by Thursday for inclusion in the next survey.

Implementation Information:
- Implementations at the Publication of ATAG 1.0. This document was compiled before the publication of ATAG 1.0 to ensure that each checkpoint had been (and therefore could be) implemented.
- Conformance Evaluations. A list of authoring tools and their conformance evaluations (when available).
- Conformance Icons for ATAG 1.0. Developers may use these icons to designate products for which they are claiming conformance to ATAG 1.0.

Techniques for Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 - W3C Note (29 October 2002)

This multi-part note provides developers with implementation techniques that may be useful in meeting the guidelines and checkpoints in ATAG 1.0.

The Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) Working Group (AUWG) develops guidelines and techniques to assist authoring tool software developers to make tools, and the content that the tools generate, more accessible to people with disabilities. See the Working Group Charter (extended through June 2008) outlines the goals, work methods, and requirements for participation.
