Client Education

CDC has folic acid education materials available free of charge for your use. The materials were developed, tested, refined, and produced to target two audiences.

  • Before You Know It brochures, posters, print ads (small posters), fact sheets (brochure text with clipart to reproduce in black and white), and video and audio PSAs are intended for women who are thinking about becoming pregnant now or sometime soon. These materials are available in English and Spanish.
     

  • The Ready, Not series of brochures, posters, print ads, and PSAs are intended for women who are not planning to get pregnant in the near future. English only

Other materials include:

  • Living with Spina Bifida: A Glimpse for Prevention Campaign Partners (Booklet available in English and Spanish)

  • Angels Don't Walk, They Fly (Available as a Video PSA and a CD PSA)

  • Fact Sheet for the General Public (Available in English and Spanish),
