Staff
PSC is staffed by a director, deputy director, coastal hazards specialist, outreach and training coordinator, literacy coordinator, B-WET Hawaii coordinator, spatial technology coordinator, geospatial technicians, management and program analyst, and coastal program specialists. In addition, the office houses representatives from other NOS offices, including the National Geodetic Survey, Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management, Office of Response and Restoration, and National Marine Sanctuaries. The NOAA National Weather Service and PSC are co-located, facilitating coordination in programs and administrative duties.
Partner Organizations
PSC determines its activities and carries out its mission most effectively through collaboration with partner organizations. These include coastal resource agencies, natural resource agencies, emergency management agencies, universities, nongovernmental organizations, the private sector, and the shipping and maritime community.
Location and Directions
The NOAA Pacific Services Center is located in the heart of Honolulu's downtown business district. Directions to the office are available for visitors arriving from the airport or from Waikiki.
