The NIH Clinical Center is served by 3 airports: Washington Reagan airport, Dulles Airport and the Baltimore-Washington Airport. An NIH Shuttle is provided to each airport. We are also accessible by car, subway and bus via Metrorail.

A campus shuttle is available to transport you to other buildings on the NIH campus such as the Children's Inn, to some local hotels, and to the metro.

If you want door to door driving directions you can go to Mapquest and type in your address as the start point and fill in National Institute of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD, 20892-0002 as the end point.

To offer the most secure and safe environment for our patients and visitors, security measures are in place. All adults will be asked for identification. Vehicles entering the campus are inspected and two IDs may be required for drivers. Please allow extra time for these measures. Further information can be found on our security site.

Valet Parking is available at the Clinical Center. When you arrive at the entrance to the Clinical Center, a valet parking attendant will give you a claim ticket for your vehicle and park it in a lot near the front entrance. Have your claim ticket stamped at the parking validation desk when your are ready to depart, then reclaim your vehicle.
